oh my

I've noticed a trend with my life. Nothing happens and then nothing happens and then everything happens all at once and then nothing happens and then everything happens and so on and so on.

It all began Friday when Nicole showed up at my job. I was changing Gavin and she just appeared at the door. She wasn't supposed to get here till yesterday (Saturday) morning, or so she told me. I was really surprised and happy till I found out she had gotten home Thursday. She said she wanted to surprise me. Okay, but you could have done that Thursday when you were here two days before I thought you were going to be. I don't know, I guess I was a little upset my best friend waited a day to tell me she was here. That kind of ruined the whole surprise thing for me.

When I got off work, I ran home to get the relay t-shirts and fix my hair, then it was up to the tech center to help set up for the survivor's banquet. Yeah I wasn't really needed to help set up so I sort of felt out of place. I hate that feeling. But it was fun and nice and the ceremony was good, even though I screwed up the power point trivia game at one point by clicking the woring thing and then it screwed up all on it's own so we had to think of questions ourselves. I ended up serving cornbread too before sitting on the stage eating myself with Kate and Georgette. I wasn't really needed to help clean up so I gave Sue the shirts and headed to Payless to look for shoes for work. It was there Allison Mehaffey calls me and says people are coming over to watch a movie, including Nicole and do I want to come. I really shouldn't have, I had to go to Wal-Mart too and Fashion Bug and had to get ready for Relay, but it had been a long time since I'd seen Allison and a long time since we've just hung out at her house so I went after a quick trip to Wal-Mart. I ended up getting to Allison's first and talked with her mom for a while.
