Not a new toy for us, but you could sort of say it was for us because it does entertain us when the kitties play with it. It is this . . . Actually there are twelve of them. (Them being lightweight soft practice golf balls). M-Duck and T-Duck love to bat around golf balls. J-Duck and I found a regular golf ball on a walk once and brought it home and the kitties love it, but sometimes it rolls on the tile (which I doubt our neighbors below us enjoy because of the noise) and sometimes the kitties bat the ball so hard it rolls into a wall and we are afraid of getting dents in the wall (or even worse a hole). So the other weekend when we were spoiling me (looking for a pretty shirt that fits my now changing size), Berfday shopping for a friend, and then randomly ran into these we decided to buy them and bring them home. The kitties love them and it is really funny to watch them hunt the golf balls, bat them away, and then take off after them with a fully puffed tail. The golf balls actually have a little bounce to them which makes it even more fun for the kitties when they smack the balls into walls and the balls come bouncing back....
